Target Audience: USC faculty, researchers, students, postdocs, staff, and others (e.g., contractors, external collaborators) are required to take the course “Restricted Research at USC: Controlled Unclassified Information” when they are: (a) A researcher who handles CUI data as part of the conduct of research; (b) A staff member (e.g., Research Administrator, Business Officer) who is not involved in the conduct of research but handles CUI data; (c) An IT Security Professional who may or may not be involved in the conduct of research but handles CUI data and/or manages access to restricted data/systems that store CUI data
