Whether through malicious intent or unintentional negligence, individuals with authorized access to university resources may jeopardize sensitive research, intellectual property, and operational continuity. This course aims to: (1) Define insider threats and their relevance to universities; (2) Provide practical examples of how insider threats manifest in research environments; (3) Highlight the importance of recognizing and reporting suspicious activities.
